Ayurveda
There are
four Vedas, the Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda
and Atharva Veda. The Vedas are the primary texts
of Hinduism.
Ayurveda is a part of Atharva Veda.
It is defined in two parts of Atharva Veda – Bhaishagykni
and Âyushyâni.
Ayurveda has three main
parts –

Curing
Diseases by herbs and metals, which are naturally
occuring; and

Balancing body, mind and soul through Yoga.
