Meal Times? You decide – 3 or 6?!
It is said in Ayurveda – You are what you eat. It means what you eat decides your health. Some people say that eating habits and tastes are developed in the early childhood. It is not true. Depending on lifestyle and location, eating habits and tastes do change over time during our lifetime. For example, you have noticed that people who do not like sweets get affected by Diabetes and then they start liking to eat some kind of special sweets or may be all sweets.
For a normal and healthy lifestyle, we should never eat excessive. When you are hungry, you must keep three equal spaces fro air, water and food to fill yourself. Never eat, till you burp. It is unhealthy. If you have strong appetite, you can eat three times. If you are diabetic and feel hungry several times, you can eat six times. But in one meal, you should not overeat. Keeping these facts helps you maintain your metabolism balanced. Healthy body keeps you always cheerful and positive. Isn’t it great to listen to our body !!!!!
